Full Moon Chakra Balancing AND Restorative Yoga Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30pm

Chakra balancing works on the premise that the body’s energy flows through seven primary chakras, each associated with specific physical and emotional functions. When these energy centers are aligned and balanced, the body and mind operate optimally. Conversely, blockages or imbalances in one or more chakras can manifest as physical discomfort, emotional instability, or spiritual disconnection.

Chakra balancing facilitate a free energy flow, fostering equilibrium, balance, and calm (harmony).  By focusing on specific chakras, we gain insights into our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors (self-awareness).  Aligning energy centers deepens one’s sense of connection to oneself, others, and the universe.

At this very special Full Moon Restorative event, you will guide through simple, yet powerful breathing techniques to help open, balance and strengthen your chakras. You will participate in extremely gentle restorative yoga poses that are accessible to everyone and ALL levels of yoga experience - including none at all! You will also participate in a deep guided meditation, helping to realign and balance the seven primary chakras.

NOTE: This is NOT a physical yoga class. RESTORATIVE yoga is all about being supported by pillows and bolsters and all manner of things to make sure you are absolutely comfortable and relaxed.

Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30 PM - Duration: approximately 75 minutes

*At Harmony Street Yoga, there is no charge for meditation; however, if you would like to contribute to the maintenance of the studio, contributions are deeply appreciated. The suggested contribution for this even is $20.

Thanksgiving Meditation on Gratitude Thursday, November 20th at 6:30pm

This meditation is an opportunity to remove yourself from the hub-bub and rush of the world around you and go deep within to find those places where gratitude snuggles down and brings love and warmth to your life.

In this guided meditation we will relax and connect to the people and the events that bring us joy. We will connect to the joy of loving and giving to others. We will awaken to the changing world around us… a world where there is gentleness, kindness, understanding and peace. This world does exist - for that I am grateful.

Please join me for what I hope will be the first in an annual Event of Gratitude.
