Gentle Yoga
Monday, Wednesday, Friday | 10:00am
This slower and gentler yoga practice allows you to move at a comfortable pace. In this class, you will be guided as you develop familiarity with all of the poses performed in a traditional yoga class. You will receive guidance on proper alignment and positioning, ensuring that you get the most benefit out of your yoga practice - without discomfort or risk of injury.
Classes begin with centering and a moment of mindful awareness. This quiet time is followed by gentle stretching, warm up movements and seated poses. Once warmed up, you will progress slowly through as series of low-impact movements and yoga postures designed to create less strain on muscles and joints. Modifications are offered to help people of all fitness levels, or with prior injuries, enjoy the benefits of yoga comfortably. Classes conclude with calming, cooldown asana and shavasana, allowing you to absorb the benefits of your practice in a state of deep relaxation.

This gentler, slower form of traditional Vinyasa (flowing) Yoga emphasizes the integration of movement with breath and is recommended for those who are comfortable with basic asanas.
Classes begin in the traditional way by centering through breathing and reflection. This quiet time is followed by stretching, warm up movements and seated poses, gradually transitioning into sun salutations and a wide variety of sequences designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus. You will learn to link your breath with movement to create a dynamic and fluid practice. Each movement is synchronized with inhalations and exhalations, fostering mindfulness and a deeper connection to the body. Classes conclude with calming, cooldown asana and shavasana, allowing you to absorb the benefits of your practice in a state of deep relaxation.

Restorative Yoga

This extremely gentle class is for all who want to slow down, relax and let go of the day-to-day of things. No prior knowledge or yoga experience is necessary to achieve the full benefits of Restorative Yoga.
In Restorative Yoga, the lights are dimmed and soft music plays as you are guided into gently supported poses. Restorative poses are held for several minutes. Fewer poses are used - often only six to eight. The support of folded blankets, bolsters, pillows, and blocks help you relax completely. Focus is also directed to the relaxation and restorative nature of conscious breathing.
Restorative Yoga sessions allow the body and mind to reconnect and promote emotional well-being.
