Gentle Yoga

Monday, Friday 10am
Wednesday, Saturday 1pm

This slower and gentler practice of yoga allows you to move at a comfortable pace. A knowledge of basic yoga poses and some prior experience is recommended, but not necessary.

Classes include more warm up movements and an emphasis on finding stillness within a posture. Stretching, seated poses, and low-impact movements create less strain on muscles and joints. Modifications are offered to help people of all fitness levels or with prior injuries enjoy the benefits of yoga comfortably.

A Gentle Yoga class is a great choice for anyone seeking to improve their flexibility, build strength, and gain greater confidence in their yoga practice.

Duration: 75 minutes | Suggested contribution: $20

Vinyasa yoga

Monday, Friday 6pm
Wednesday, Saturday 10am

Vinyasa Yoga emphasizes the integration of movement with breath and is recommended for those who are comfortable with basic asanas.

Classes flow through a series of poses, linking breath with movement to create a dynamic and fluid practice. We begin with centering and warm-up poses, gradually transitioning into sun salutations and sequences designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus. Each movement is synchronized with inhalations and exhalations, fostering mindfulness and a deeper connection to the body. Classes conclude with calming, cooldown asana and shavasana, allowing you to absorb the benefits of your practice in a state of deep relaxation.

Please note, this is not “gym-style” yoga.

Duration: 75 minutes | Suggested contribution: $20

Restorative Yoga

Wednesday and Sunday at 6pm

This extremely gentle class is for all who want to relax and let go of the day-to-day of things. NO prior knowledge or yoga experience is necessary to achieve the full benefits of restorative yoga.

In restorative yoga, gently supported poses are held for longer than in conventional yoga. Fewer poses are used - often only six to eight. The support of folded blankets, bolsters, and blocks help you relax completely. Focus is also directed to the relaxation and restorative nature of conscious breathing… and “letting go” of that which no longer serves your best interests.

Restorative Yoga sessions allow the body and mind to slow down and relax, allowing you to connect with your inner self, cultivate awareness, and promote emotional well-being.
